Achievements and records of drivers who finished on the podium
Max Verstappen won his sixth race this season, it was also his second victory in the Las Vegas GP, and 69 overall.
Verstappen won a race leading from start to finish for the 18th time in his career.
Verstappen has won eight races on tracks in the USA in his career – the most in F1.
Verstappen recorded his 125th career podium.
Since the summer break, Verstappen has finished every race on the podium – eight in a row.
Verstappen set the fastest lap in an F1 race for the first time in the Las Vegas GP, as well as for the second time this season and 36th in his career.
Verstappen has set fastest laps on 21 different tracks.
For Verstappen, it was his 150th race in Red Bull-Honda colors.
Verstappen was only a Pole Position away from achieving a statistical grand slam. In recent years, it happens quite often that a driver is missing only one thing for this achievement.
Singapore and Las Vegas are the only tracks on the current calendar where Verstappen has never won qualifying.
George Russell recorded his 24th career podium.
Russell has secured a total of nine podium finishes this year – his career best.
Russell finished all of this year’s races, failing to score points only in the Monaco GP, where he finished 11th.
Russell started his 150th F1 race.
Russell exceeded 1 000 points scored in Formula 1, currently having 1 008 to his name.
Kimi Antonelli recorded his third career podium.
Antonelli secured two consecutive podiums for the first time in his career.
The previous driver from Italy to secure two consecutive podiums in F1 was Giancarlo Fisichella at the end of the 2006 season for Renault.
Antonelli gained 14 positions at the finish relative to his starting position.
Interesting facts related to McLaren drivers
Lando Norris secured Pole Position for the seventh time this season and 16th time overall in his career.
Norris has Pole Positions on 15 different tracks; only at Interlagos was he fastest twice.
Norris secured three consecutive Pole Positions for the first time in his career.
Norris started his 150th F1 race.
Norris is the only driver in F1 history to have driven his first 150 races for a single team.
Norris equaled the achievement of David Coulthard, who also started 150 races for McLaren. Together they are the record holders for this team.
Due to disqualification, the Las Vegas GP was not another race in which Norris was classified. A streak of 46 consecutive races in which Norris was classified came to an end. This is the second-best result in history; only Hamilton is better, having been classified in 48 consecutive races between 2018 – 2020.
Norris has a 24-point lead in the general classification over the second driver – the most in his career. Despite the disqualification from the Las Vegas GP results, his lead over the second driver remained unchanged.
Oscar Piastri finished five consecutive races in positions 4-5. Of course, he was disqualified from the Las Vegas GP, so that fourth place will not count for him.
Norris and Piastri recorded the first disqualifications of their F1 careers.
Achievements of other drivers
Charles Leclerc always finishes in the TOP4 in the official race results of the Las Vegas GP.
Carlos Sainz always finishes qualifying for the Las Vegas GP in the TOP3.
Sainz has finished in the following positions in Las Vegas GP races so far: 6, 3 and 5.
Lewis Hamilton finished last in qualifying for the first time in his career when he was able to set a lap time, i.e., he was the slowest in the field.
Hamilton had very unsuccessful qualifying starts in Las Vegas, taking positions far from his potential, and then making up ground in the races.
Hamilton gained 11 positions at the finish relative to his starting position.
Oliver Bearman scored points in five consecutive races for the first time in his career.
Fernando Alonso is the only driver in the current field who was alive when Formula 1 raced in Las Vegas in 1981 and 1982 on the track laid out in the Caesars Palace casino parking lot.
Pierre Gasly performs excellently in qualifying on the Las Vegas street circuit, having twice taken a position in the TOP4 and always being in Q3. In the races, however, the situation is completely different, as he has never scored points.
Alex Albon has never scored points in Las Vegas, failing to finish this Grand Prix twice.
Gabriel Bortoleto failed to finish an F1 race for the fifth time in his career, with collisions being the reason four times.
Lance Stroll retired from an F1 race on the first lap for the fifth time in his career.
Statistics regarding teams and engines
Red Bull recorded its 128th victory in Formula 1, including its second in the Las Vegas GP.
Yuki Tsunoda became the first Red Bull driver not to score points in the Las Vegas GP.
Mercedes had two drivers on the podium in the Las Vegas GP in both 2024 and 2025.
Mercedes secured a double podium for the second time this season.
For Ferrari, the 2025 visit to Las Vegas was by far the least successful since this race debuted on the calendar, both in terms of qualifying and the race.

The previous Ferrari driver to be slowest in qualifying was Giancarlo Fisichella in the 2009 Abu Dhabi GP.
Ferrari and Mercedes are the only teams whose drivers always both score points in the Las Vegas GP.
Williams secured its first points in the Las Vegas GP thanks to Sainz’s fifth position.
Isack Hadjar’s sixth place in the race is by far the best result for drivers of the Faenza-based team (AlphaTauri / RB / Racing Bulls) in the Las Vegas GP.
Lawson’s sixth place in qualifying is the best result for the AlphaTauri / RB / Racing Bulls team at the Las Vegas track.
The Hinwil-based team (Alfa Romeo / Kick Sauber) secured its first points in the Las Vegas GP thanks to Hulkenberg’s seventh position.
Oliver Bearman is the first Haas team driver to score points in five consecutive races.

Aston Martin had a very successful performance in Las Vegas in 2023, followed by two very poor ones.
McLaren recorded its 176th Pole Position in Formula 1, including its first for the Las Vegas GP.
For the first time in history, both McLaren drivers were disqualified from the results of the same race.
The previous disqualification of a McLaren driver was Hamilton in the 2009 Australian GP.
McLaren ended a streak of 59 consecutive races with points. This is the sixth-best result in F1 history, but not the best for this team, as they had a similar streak of 64 consecutive races with points several years ago.
McLaren’s best official result in the Las Vegas GP remains Norris’s sixth position in 2024. In 2025, both drivers finished higher but were disqualified.
McLaren has secured a total of 17 points in the Las Vegas GP over three years.
McLaren has not achieved a podium in the Las Vegas GP, but John Watson secured a podium for them in 1982 in the Caesars Palace GP, which was held in this city.
Other statistical interesting facts after the 2025 Las Vegas GP
This was the fifth Formula race in Las Vegas, the third on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit street track.
During the three F1 visits to the Las Vegas street circuit so far, there have been two different race winners, three different qualifying winners, seven different drivers on the podium, and three different drivers with the fastest lap in the races.
The race was won by the driver starting from second place. This broke the second-longest streak in F1 history of seven consecutive victories from Pole Position. The record remains eight consecutive victories in 1976.
There is no driver who has completed every lap in the races this year. Russell finished every race, but in Monaco he was lapped twice, so he is missing two laps.
Verstappen and Alonso are undefeated in internal qualifying duels this season.
Lance Stroll was eliminated in Q1 of qualifying the most times this year – 14 times.
Out of 66 possible podium places this year: 31 were won by McLaren, 13 Red Bull, 12 Mercedes, 7 Ferrari and 1 Kick Sauber, Racing Bulls and Williams.
Lap times, top speed, and pit stops in the 2025 Las Vegas GP
Lando Norris won qualifying for the 2025 Las Vegas GP with a time of 1:47,934. The drivers competed on a wet track, so the lap time is slow. Practice results and the course of the race suggest that in optimal conditions, the qualifying track record in Las Vegas, which has belonged to George Russell since 2024 (1:32,312), would have been improved.
Max Verstappen set the fastest lap during the 2025 Las Vegas GP race. The Dutchman achieved a time of 1:33,365 on the 50th lap of the race. The Red Bull driver’s result is a new official track record for the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. He improved Lando Norris’s 2024 record (1:34,876) by over 1,5 seconds.
