After the great success of the F1 75 Live at The O2 event, which took place at the start of the 2025 season, Formula 1 returns with a similar but expanded idea before the 2027 season. It was announced in a press release that this time the host will be Milan in Italy, where a three-day festival for fans is planned from February 18-20, 2027. The culmination of this event will be the live broadcast of F1 The Show on February 18 featuring all drivers, team principals, and cars. Details about the location (likely a sports and entertainment hall in the city) and tickets will be announced later. We can expect widely available broadcasts on F1 broadcasters (Eleven Sports in Poland) and online on Formula 1 channels.
Liberty Media has not yet provided all the details, but unofficial information suggests that the 2027 event will differ from the 2025 one in London. This time teams will be able to make their individual presentations of new cars with final paint schemes earlier. During the event in Milan, we will see all the cars, drivers, and team principals, but it will be more of an entertainment event rather than a first reveal of the look. Personally, I do not expect real 2027 season cars to appear on stage, as they will be in the process of being sent to pre-season testing. They may be mock-ups or 2026 cars in new colors. This is not officially confirmed yet, but F1 plans a four-day pre-season test tour in Bahrain in the last days of February (probably February 25–28). If testing there is not possible due to the ongoing war nearby, they will likely change the location to one of the European tracks.
During F1 The Show, besides the presence of all drivers, principals, and teams, entertainment and musical performances are also planned, similar to 2025. The attractions planned during the three-day festival for fans remain a mystery; we will see what Formula 1 comes up with here.

Success of the joint presentation in 2025
The F1 75 Live at The O2 event to open the 2025 season was a huge financial and media success for Formula 1. It was known that Liberty Media would want to do this regularly, but it was not possible in 2026 due to the introduction of new cars and very early presentations. I remind you that all tickets for the 2025 event sold out in 20 minutes (there were over 15,000 tickets). The broadcast on the official F1 YouTube channel had 1.1 million live viewers. It was broadcast by TV and online broadcasters in 37 countries and attracted 7.5 million live viewers. Additionally, there were huge social media reach. I also remember that traffic on this blog was extremely high that day.
Summary
In my opinion, F1 The Show in 2027 will be organized more in the style of events regularly held by MotoGP to open the season. In that series, teams make individual presentations of their new motorcycles, then pre-season tests are held, and finally a joint season-opening event with fans is organized. In 2027, the MotoGP series will have pre-season tests at two Asian tracks, and on February 21 an opening event in Brazil.
The joint presentation in the F1 The Show format makes a lot of sense for all interested parties. I like its organization on one condition: teams will also make their own classic presentations. If everyone reveals new paint schemes/cars on the same day, it is too much information at once, and smaller teams are then pushed to the sidelines because attention is drawn to what the most popular teams show.
